Here an updated report from our freeskier Jonas Hunziker....again good news and great results for Nordica (not only in World Ski Championship):
Swiss Freeski Open Davos: The weather was pretty bad but it was still a very fun competition. In the finals at night we had to do their best
style and their best technical trick. I did a backflip tail grab (one for fun) and an double cork 1080 and ended up on 3rd place.
World Cup Silvaplana: The Slopestyle course was very bad for a World Cup but we somehow had to deal with it. In the qualifications I did a
safe run and I qualified on 8th place for the finals. In the finals I wanted to go all in. I tried to do back to back double 10 for the first time in a competition but it didn't really worked out and I ended up on the 15th place. In the Slopestyle World Cup overall ranking I improved to 4th place, which is good.
Frostgun Invitational:Last weekend the Frostgun Invitational (AFP Platinum Big Air) took place in Val d'Isere, France. I was feeling very good on the jump and I ended up winning the qualifications with a switch double 900° double japan grab. In the end I finished on the unlucky 4th place and I missed the podium by less than 1 point. I am happy with my skiing anyway and it was a lot of fun to ski in front of this big crowd.
